She has extensive experience in implementing large language models in regulated environments, particularly in education and public sector contexts. At pleias, she leads the development of enterprise-grade AI assistants, combining efficient natural language processing with rigorous compliance requirements.
A graduate of École Normale Supérieure (ENS) Ulm, she holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy as well as a degree from ESCP Business School. She is currently an Associate Lecturer at Sorbonne-Nouvelle University where she teaches Data Analysis and AI for Communications and Marketing.

Dr. Pierre-Carl Langlais is a researcher in artificial intelligence and information sciences with over a decade of expertise in developing innovative AI applications for complex textual analysis. His groundbreaking doctoral research, which applied advanced text mining techniques to analyze the emergence of financial journalism in the 19th century, was awarded the 2016 SFSIC Research Prize.
His technical expertise centers on building AI systems that combine high performance with full auditability, particularly for regulated industries. He has pioneered techniques for training language models exclusively on open data while maintaining competitive performance levels. At pleias, he architects AI solutions that meet stringent European compliance requirements while delivering practical business value. He teaches advanced natural language processing at Sciences Po Paris.

Pleias is a research lab and consulting company that develops energy efficient, compliant and ethical AI solutions. We accompany our corporate and institutional clients through the entire cycle from strategy and use case development, AI solution architecture, LLM customization, pre-training, finetuning all the way to the pilot phase and adoption at scale.
